Religion
During religion this year the students will learn a variety of topics centered around the values that Jesus showed in His own life. Using faith, hope, love, and kindness we will be able to grow as a family and instill the correct values in our children to live a Jesus did. Below will be an overview of the up-coming topics and material that we will cover this year.
There will be many topics covered this year in religion. Some of the topics we will discuss contain some mature information. Everything this year will be certainly kept on a 4th grade level, but we will cover topics such as: abortion, suicide, taking care of your bodies, just to name a few. The book does not mention some of these actual words, but does go into what they mean. Please review the material prior and please let me know if you ever have any questions. Some of the other topics this year include, the Ten Commandments, Beatitudes, Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy.
We will be using the religion book "We Believe" by Sadlier
The final will on June 7th - This will be cumulative
The study guide is due June 3rd. We will go over it when we return from break. I will also be posting a google search on the saints for the students work on next week.
